The ClipMate allows gardeners to inspect their indoor garden without spoiling untold amounts of time spent on photocycle reprogramming efforts. Even small amounts of light during “night” cycles can throw off a plant’s photoperiod, but the ClipMate’s green LED emits light that plants can’t “see.” LED has a 100,000-hour life, and can operate for up to 40 hours on the included AAA alkaline batteries. Clip-on light also includes elastic headband and lanyard.
